Are your traffic law fees really fixed?
Yes. For most guilty pleas in the Magistrates Court we charge a flat, upfront fixed fee — no hidden charges, extra fees or unexpected bills. You know exactly what it will cost before you commit.
What is included in the fixed fee for a guilty plea?
Full court preparation including checking for defences and a strategy to minimise penalty, drafting any affidavits and your court submissions, contacting police prosecutions and obtaining your traffic history and charge documents, arranging a driving course if appropriate, all calls, emails and meetings, clear advice on the likely penalty and what happens at and after court, and a lawyer appearing in court with you.
How much does a drink driving or drug driving lawyer cost?
A guilty plea for low, mid or high range drink driving, or for drug driving, is a fixed $2,750 in the Magistrates Court — including full preparation and appearing in court with you.
How do I pay, and is my money safe?
We accept credit card and direct debit. Your payment goes into a Queensland Law Society approved and monitored trust account, where it stays until your matter is completed and you give us permission to take it from trust.
What if I am pleading not guilty, or my matter is complex?
